In 2019 Keinzley Brewery started its life as a distillery in Manaia South Taranaki. Our business goal was to produce a candidate whiskey to later be adopted as NZ's National Whiskey - A whiskey that the rest of the world will come to know as NZ Whiskey.

I (Grant) always said...."They have Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, Irish, Malts and more and NZ has a hell of a lot of beer. We need a whiskey!"

In 2023 we moved the brewery south into an old Druid's hall in the horse racing town of Waverley.

2025 We are still building that candidate whiskey and opened this homebrew supplies store.

So as well as shopping online you are welcome when in the neighbourhood to pop in to visit us at the store and see the brewery at work.
